We believe the Bible is God’s message to humanity. His way of revealing Himself and showing us how to be restored to a right relationship with Him.

We believe in the Universal Church — made up of all who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and live in obedience to His Lordship — as the Body of Christ on earth.
We subscribe to the tenants of faith as expressed in the statements of belief of Salt and Light of which we are a part. These are in turn, in line with the beliefs of the Evangelical Alliance.

Introducing Bishop Ngwiza Mnkandla – Pastor, Chelmsford Community Church.
With over forty years of ministry experience, Bishop Ngwiza brings a deep passion for church planting, discipleship, and leadership development. His heart is to see leaders raised up—men and women of integrity who can lead with wisdom and grace.
A visionary and a builder, Bishop Ngwiza has spent his life equipping others to walk in their God-given purpose. His commitment to lifelong learning and collaboration continues to shape his approach to ministry—bringing fresh insight, humility, and a deep dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Faith Ministries Churches
Faith Ministries International was founded in the early 1980s by Dr. Ngwiza Mnkandla in Zimbabwe, with a God-given vision to reach people of all nations with the transforming message of Jesus Christ.
What began as a small gathering has since grown into a global family of churches committed to biblical teaching, passionate worship, and authentic community. The ministry’s mission is simple: “To turn ordinary people into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”

Our Affiliations
Salt & Light Ministries International
Faith Ministries UK is part of Salt & Light Ministries UK (Momentum Sphere) — an international family of churches and leaders rooted in a shared vision to see the Body of Christ grow into all God intends. Formed in the 1970s under the leadership of the late Barney Coombs, Salt & Light has since grown into several apostolic spheres across the world, united by strong relational leadership. The International Team is currently led by Steve Thomas of Oxfordshire Community Churches.
Evangelical Alliance
The Evangelical Alliance unites evangelical alliances based around the world, representing up to an estimated one billion evangelical Christians worldwide. This reflects the global reach and influence of evangelical faith, which can also be seen in the huge social and ethnic diversity in evangelical churches within the UK. Throughout its history, the Evangelical Alliance has been at the forefront of campaigns for Christian unity, religious liberty and social transformation.
